chantal & kirk // nova scotia engagement

Picture this: you recently got engaged and you’re planning your photos. You want something romantic but also laidback. The obvious choice is a family cottage on a lake at dusk with wine and a camp fire, right? 100% YES!

I met up with Chantal and Kirk and followed them to an incredibly secluded location that opened up onto a small lake surrounded by ferns and tall trees. It was picturesque and from a photographer’s point of view, it couldn’t have been more fitting for the type of photos we would be taking.

These two described themselves as a bit awkward in front of the camera but I’m calling bullshit on that! They made this session so effortless and dreamy and more than anything, fun! At the end of our session, these two had plans to crush a Wheel Pizza so you know it was going to be a good night!
