One of the biggest perks of being a photographer is that I get to follow the growth of families and capture them in that moment year after year. It’s fun to watch the kids get taller and smarter and really come out of their shells and it’s just as fun to watch the parents evolve, too! When it comes to these guys, I’ve been around for a lot of their big moments! Andrew and I have been close friends since we were three or four. I got to photograph the girls when they were days, maybe even hours old. I stood in Andrew and Chelsey’s wedding. To put it simply: these guys are hella special to me!

It’s been a while since I’ve taken photos of these guys but I’m so so so pleased with these shots. We spent our time galavanting around their property binging on blackberries and trying to make whistles out of the tall grass. I can’t stress enough how little stress is involved with these sessions - I promise, the hardest part of a session is making sure everyone has their clothes on!
